What's a good price for the CRAFTSMAN CMST98273RB?
The lowest price we've recorded is $399 on Jun 4, 2026 and Oct 22, 2026. Our rubric says a price at the bottom of an item's history, and not one that pops up every week, can earn an A or a B, so $399 or less is the price to look for. The highest we've recorded is $539 on Oct 1, 2022. Our rubric gives a price above an item's usual range a D or an F, and anything over $539 is above every price we've recorded.
Lowe's shows a 'was' price of $599. That price isn't in our records, so it earns no credit: we ignore it and grade the real price.
The grade also weighs what other stores charge and who's selling it. How we grade.

The lesson
If you've been eyeing a big rolling cabinet for the garage, $399 is the number to wait for, and it's here. Lowe's had it at this same price back in June 2026 (it was $539 in 2022), so it matches the best we've seen rather than beating it. The sale runs through Oct 28, and pickup stock varies by store.
